Well Hello there Artisans and travelers from distant worlds!

I decided to start our first Forum Thread on here to introduce ourselves to the forums!
My goal here is to add some roleplay elements to our character profiles, as well as to give other people in the forum the chance to get to know one another!
We all have busy lives and many of us are offline for days, so I felt it would be a neat little contribution to add some fun elements to our Forum!

Since I crated the Thread, I would like to start it off.

Maximillian Bucks is my name. I'm born a Mi'Qote but I lived in Gridania my whole life. I grew up studying the teachings of Nophica, and learning to survive in the wilderness, foraging for food and building my own shelters. It was in this regard that I learned the ways of crafting, becoming one with the environments which I grew to love.
I take only what I need to survive, and spend the nights studying. I was married once. During the Calamity I lost my family. Murdered while I was out collecting firewood. I bare a burning resolve to destroy the Garlean Empire, and one day hope to purge Eorzea of their vile ideaology.

I now wander the world in search of new ways to strengthen myself, and have recently taken up the axe I used to chop firewood with and begun to master it! I will become a great warrior and with that skill, as well as my abilities to cure the sick, I hope to avenge the death of my family and restore honor to my name.
